Amanda has trained in the Hearts and Hands Midwifery Intensive courses with renowned Midwife Elizabeth Davis, is a DONA International trained doula, and LAMAZ trained childbirth educator, with extensive pregnancy/birth-related knowledge. Receive continuous physical, emotional, informational, and hands-on support for mom/birthing person and partner before, during childbirth, and in the postpartum period, often called the fourth trimester. Birth and Postpartum doulas provide essential support to the new parents through this life-changing transition. Support is tailored to the new families' needs and often includes prenatal visits, childbirth education, emotional and physical support during the prenatal period and labour/birth; assistance with new born care, laundry services, household cleaning, and meal preparation. Whether you only want a single prenatal visit that covers basic childbirth education and alternative comfort measures; labour support; or a postpartum visit to have laundry and some household chores taken care of, I've got you covered.
